more pics please. Looks like you had a great trip. See you Tuesday.

Calico John and I have started talking about a 5 day expedition-type run, either in late May or early June. Start in Lone Pine and head up into the Inyo Mtns, exploring mines and trails on the way to Cerro Gordo. The rest of the adventure is TBD, but will end up in South Park in the Panamints.

This looks great. A good possibility for me for early June.

See you at the meeting.

Does anyone have the GPS coordinates for the turn off on the dirt road to the canyon south of Ballarat? I was thinking aobut coming after work on friday and getting to your camp in the am. I'm 50% right now to join for the weekend.

Always a pleasure Joe.:)

Remind me not to drink any more of that Mormon Tea! It turns out THAT was what kept me awake both nights at Briggs. Did some research. Ephedra!

I will do a full write up and post soon. Hoping to get some pics from Morgan and Lilli to go with the report, since my camera saw even less action than yours!

Excellent adventure!
We explored some more of our beautiful desert but there is so much more to see...
Always fun to go with good people.
Mark, I'll put Lili's pics on disk and get it to you.
Morgan

On the way out it was windy as all heck. gusts up to 80mph. My drivers window the zippers blow out on my last trip so I got blasted.
It felt like I was getting punched in the head

You can see the boulders flying through the air

Can you believe ferry boats used to cross this lake
