Chasing U bolts, Alcan Heavy duty spring pack, with a custom cut upper plate (at/close to specs) with 4* shims. Always got to spread top of bolts to fit the holes a .itch and for that reason need to be at least 9.3/4 " long, imo and in my situation. Found this site and looking at UBT 4061.

Any spring shop can make custom U bolts for not much $$, although that might not be as easy depending on location. Although I’m not certain this is your question.

Location does matter. Long story short, my U bolts need retorquing every time I'm under the rig. They've been in there properly since 2013 or few years later by PO. Had to use them even with a Trial of OME spring pack, so they have been off/on quite a few times. Centering pin has gotten bent in the past, just recently I believe top of it has sheered off, moving the shim 1"+ fwd. and shifted some leafs. Not sure if it's metal fatigue or nut moving on the bolts, now doing a "gut and tight" method vs torque specs (well on the trail). Top plate is fabricated by PO, 5/8" steel. That is what I was looking for as well, but buying the whole system from 4plus seemed a little uneconomical? Hence searching, now bought from mentioned store.

Hope that makes sense?

Mike I bet if you reached out to 4Plus they may be willing to work something out for the top plates if yours are a little “off”.

Maybe go with spring lock washers and some loctite. I need to get my u-bolt nuts to about 80-90ft-lb with my flip kit plates for everything to stay put.
