Looking for an original "Toyota Land Cruiser" name plate from the rear liftgate of a 1997 40th Anniversary Land Cruiser.
Needs to be in excellent condition.
If excellent, I will pay you $300 and I will send you a brand new "Land Cruiser" nameplate from a 97 Land Cruiser. This will be the standard sliver one. They sell for $100 from CDan.

Attached is a pic of what I am looking for. As you can see it isnt the standard silver color. it is black pearl.

Are you sure? I don't think the land cruiser nameplate is any different on the different editions.

Edit: You're right, looks like there are two different part numbers

@89cruiserfj62 .. yep my fellow South Carolinian, I am 100% certain there are 2 different name plates.
One Silver and One Black Pearl.

Just spray it with grey candy color and you can make the silver one smoked.

@ginericLC -- Have you tried to spray it with paint to produce the black pearl color?

No I haven't done it on a Cruiser emblem but I've played with some other emblems with some translucent paints. You are in Dallas there has to be a good hot rod or body shop that could do it for you.

I have already painted the Toyota emblems black pearl. As for the name plate, based on the material, I dont think it can be painted like the Toyota sombrero emblem can.

Are you sure you can not just get a new one from Toyota?

It looks like there are 2. One for the 40tha anv. edition and the collectors edition. A different part number for the rest of them.

Toyota shows 3 new in stock.

75435-60080 part number for the 1997 collectors edition 47th anniversary edition.

1 in Cincinnati region
2 in Kansas city region

Retail $154.12
Dealer Cost $92.66

I will call ASAP and if they are available I will purchase a couple for sure today!!! Do you know which dealerships?

I called Toyota and the part number 75435-60080, (the correct one for the 40th or the Collectors Edition) supersedes back to the original standard version which is 75435-60040.
So even though it shows 3, if the parts guy looks close those 3 ones you say are available actually will point back to the standard silver version :(
thanks for looking into this though!

I am not sure your dealer knows what they are talking about. The part number 75435-60040 is interchangeable with the other part number. That is common for similar parts. The part number you need 75435-60080 shows 3 in stock. The other part number shows 50 in stock. I will order them. Sometimes Toyota will send the easier part to get which might be the other number if you let the computer place the order. I will try and order the 3 here by calling distribution center. I will keep you updated.

I called the distribution center. Toyota shows 3 but their records only show 1. I ordered it. I will let you know what I get.
