How To 40 Series Seat Back Color

Hello, I'm rehabbing the rear seats on my 1973 40 series. What are people using to paint them (ie what color)?

a year for the seats would help... which seats? (assume front seat backs) ... pics?

im going with pewter color.... or gray

Jump Seat backs are a late 73, Pewter sounds right, is there an off the shelf color that you are aware of?

several easy cheap options ( I like those best)

cheap 1: Rustoleum stainless steel spray
cheap 2: Duplicolor stainless steel spray


not as cheap but people like it: Cruiser Corps has the pewter in spray can

I use the Rustoleum .... its a good match imho

Rattle can is fine, Rustoleum Pewter, got it!

there is a rustoleum hammered finish in silver i use for "pewter".
The bumper is my paint job.
