Finally got all the little s***s to school and the wife out of the house.
R drain hose looks good.
Is this area that drains into hose. This is pic of right (passenger size). Was clogged.
This is left (DS). Clear of debris.

have your son spray water over the top and hood and sit in the truck and see where it drips from.
is this pic showing that water comes into cab through firewall and then drains down and out of the floor?

Yes and yes to never driving it in the rain. I try not to. As soon as it was in garage I had fans on it till this am. If WS gasket is bad, where does that H2O go ?

Down into the firewall and either onto your floorboard (probable) or down into the engine side of the firewall.

Water is going down tube and out of tub as designed by Mr Toyoda. .
I haven't fixed mine yet, dreading it, but my cowl vent is full of rusted out pinholes. You might want to check that, but yours looked good in the pic.

How the heck could a stereo shop make the truck leak? That's not it. Does the truck have a windshield gasket on it? That may be bad. Lay the windsield down and check it. If it's somewhat good pull it off and soak it down with armor all or something that will lube it up (I said lube) and make it soft cause you can never have too much lube! That is the only place I can think of that it might be coming from.

See, I knew this was where it was headed. It doesn't take long to get a thread off track with this bunch! I'm gonna work the word nipple into a post soon and see what happens. lol

the windshield gasket could probably stand to be replaced on a Mike budget. I soaked it for 24 hours in armor all when I had the truck torn down 1.5 years ago......for what that's worth.
I have new WS gasket. I'll put it on when hardtop comes off in a few months.
This one is still available. Looks to be a well-built trail 40 on tons for the money. Met the owner this weekend. Very nice guy who seems to know his stuff.
