4 speed rebuild (1 Viewer)

I am looking to rebuild my 4 speed. One thing I know I need to replace is the syncro gears. Shifting from 2nd to 3rd is not as smooth as the other gears.
Which item(s) do I need in the picture? #6 and #12?

If you haven’t pulled the trans yet, I would hold off until you do a little test.

Because the 2-3 shift requires changing gates, it’s possibly a problem with the shifter itself. The pivot pins in the tower wear down, causing the lever to cant off center, which eventually interferes with the shift.

SOR offers a tower pin repair kit for the 3 speed that can be modified to work on the four speed.
