Thanks so much... this is what I will try first.... I will try this first...

You may want to check if you have a blown fuse..... Stranger things have happened.... :D If you have power and the relays are not clicking, then it almost has to be a bad switch somewhere. The motor is powered right out of the relays, but the switches have to tell the relays that everything's ok before they will run the motor.

which fuse is it???? I looked and there was not fuse that was directly to the window... or am I wrong yet again??? (ps I was drinking when I was working on this last night :D ) it was my understanding if the light on the dash came on then it was not the fuse? is that totally wrong?

the other day when i took my top off i discovered why mine was not working properly. the plug on the drivers rear behind the plastic, was all shot to s***;) i suppose my rear window was not getting enough juice:cheers:

my top has never been off so I dont think that is it... I think it is the switch, fuse or the latch not being closed...

THe dash light is powered by the "engine" fuse, and the window by the 20amp "Power window" fuse.... I have to go to work now! :D

I dont think it could be easier to find... maybe I had more to drink than I though... thanks!!! I will check this first

I will try this tonight..... I have tried to close this thing again and again and it seems closed... anyone have a pic of what the "closed" sensors look like on the tail gate?

Hi Aaron

I hope these load OK. Here are some photos of the tailgate closed switch location. It is located at the driver's side latch in the tailgate.

Photo 1 - the latch on the drive's side.

Photo 2 - the toothpick is pointing at the closed switch.

Photo 3 - I'm pushing the switch to the closed position with the toothpick.

I hope that this helps.

quick update so I did what AJFRIZ said and used a light tester to touch to the blue wire on the switch, grounding it out and it raised the window.... I had to touch another wire to lower the window and then the blue one to raise it again... so that means it is the switch right???

does anyone have one I can buy?????

Thanks again to EVERYONE!!!! you guys are the best!!!
