As long as they pay for the meal and any additional t-shirts I don't see a problem. Are they riding in your truck?

Later,

Yeah, if they ride at all. My wife, son, brother in law and father in law may come on saturday to hang out. If so, my father in law may bring his 40, but he won't wheel it.

Wife and son camp with you. Son eats for free if under 9. Wife eats for $5.

Brother in law & Father in Law = $10 per night/ each for camping, $5/ each to eat. Hanging out is free.

immediate family = lives with you.... or they otherwise cause some direct tax burden. :D

you know we don't have tax in Greenbo Alabama!:hillbilly:

Steve, the funniest part is that if Barry is anywhere out of our neighborhood he calls people "the locals."

For example, 2 Sundays ago when he called me from one county over to tell me he was stuck he said "Let me call you right back, some locals just pulled up and might be able to help me."

To be sure, the fellas that stopped to help get the truck out would have thought Barry was a foreigner if he wasn't sportin a good coat of MS mud and a Magnolia state tag. They probably still wondered if he was "I-Talian or somthin".

I registered...woohoo!

jumping threads here for relevance sake.

William and are are possibly looking at front rotor replacement before the ride. Since it has been suggested to go ahead and do the knuckles at the same time can someone with a little more experience tell us what we need to get?

Will new rotors and and knuckle rebuild kit from MAF be enough? Are there any other parts we will need?

Any thoughts on when the work day will be?

You might want to look into what "upgrade" rotors and calipers are discussed on MUD. If you are changing them anyway.....????

I have heard of early 90's 4-Runner vented rotors and calipers are a nice upgrade for 40's. And you can buy them at most parts places with the pads already loaded into the calipers. When my fronts start to go, I plan on researching this fully and making a decision then.

Good luck.

If you buy the rotors then you need wheel bearings and races. They do not come with the kit. I'm sure the part numbers are on mud somehere. Call Bob at TPI for the knuckle kit. www.tpi4x4.com He attended the Crawl and donates to the raffle. Tell him that you are with CLC and that he needs to come on down this year. Nice guy and he will get you what you need. Knows Cruisers too.

Well, I registered, but will not be able to make it. My daughter's class is taking a trip and will get back home that weekend. Also, Josh's truck (white 4x4) is loosing it's clutch. He probably won't have it fixed in time. We were both registered but haven't paid.

I guess I could hide a key and show Machell where it is. She can walk home from school when they get back in town and let herself in. :D

OK Machell found out her field trip at school is the 1st week of May, not October. So, we are back on for SCC.
