she's just got to make sure that they will give her that friday off.
I would love for her to get a job at the beach, i prefer the gulf coast of southern fla...but i would make do with an SC beach.
Being a turf equipment tech i'm fairly sure that i could find work in the costal areas

Sorry, I got cofused. You want a hotel to be able to meet at Sparks. Gotcha now.
There is a decent hotel right down from Sparks near the Tanger Outlet stores on 501. No point in paying for a beach premium when you won't get to use it.
Also there is a nice hotel that would probably be even cheaper in Conway that could save you a few bucks and then be a 15 minute drive to meet up at Sparks.
Or better yet stay in Little River and meet them when they come threw. It is easier for you coming from Greenville to hit Hwy 22 and drive on over to Little River. They will have to pass right by you on the way up to the ferry. Plus you could sleep in a little later than the others.

I am still going. Would it be possible for my cousin and his young daughter to come with me, i'll take care of his registration.
any other children going to be there....the only way my 10yr old will be game is if there are endless dragonball Z episodes to be watched or if she has children her age to play with.

NC fishing license, and my 3.5 yo son will be there. Not her age though, but he wouldn't mind watching some Dragonball.

I have a generator that i'll bring along too. I also have an extra sat. dish if someone can bring a direct TV box and a tv (have an extra tv too but it's small, i don't mind bringing it)
The only problem with the generator is it's a tejunksy engine so it's loud.
I think my daughter will skip out on this one. My son is two and my cousins daugher is 4 or 5. It will be nice to have other little ones for them to play with so i can actually do some fishing. If there isn't anyone around that my son is familiar with he's like a little duck and has to follow me everywhere or else he screams. Really makes going to public bathrooms a blast!

Yeah, not sure a loud generator would be worth it just for a tv. I have a small dvd player in the car that runs on 12 volt for any little ones to enjoy. It has 2 monitors too so they won't have to fight over who gets to sit in front of it.

anyone up to date on crab laws there? I have 2 huge crap traps "pots" that you throw bait in, throw them out, leave it over night then wake up with a trap full of blue crabs.
In SC it was 6" and bigger were keepers....this was years ago. I've heard that females must be thrown back and males can only be kept to eat.

The third annual LowCountry Boil will be held again this year at Carolina Beach.
Registration is $35.00 each, includes Saturday night meal only, one (1) shirt, and one raffle ticket. Spouse $10.00 (kids are free)
There will be camping on the beach, fishing, crabbing, shrimping, kayaking, swimming, and a raffle Sat. after supper.
Other things to do in the area include Historic Ft. Fisher, the NC Aquarium, and restaurants close by.
We will plan to meet at Sparks Toyota in Myrtle Beach at 10:00am and convoy to the ferry to take us across to Ft. Fisher.
Should put us on the beach by 1:00 when we can set up camp and start the days activities.
Additional T-shirts will be available for $15.00

Have a guy i'm supposed to be getting the OD from in the next few days (i think) and another guy is supposed to buy my engine (i hope) so that means it's time to finally put it in.
