Puller was made out of 2 inch square tube with 1/4 square tube with 1 inch =NC threaded rod. I personally would use nfef rod, very hard to find.

I’ve broken both collar bones, a couple of times. Surgery? I had to force them to give
me a brace. Not sure what you did that would need surgery. Bummer. Get well soon.

Broke it in half bones were extremely displaced, they put a plate across the two bones. So glad I went this route, recovery will be much quicker.
