ive been considering the same thing for quite awhile now and just sold a motor to make room for a buddies brand new coopers 325.80.16 i figure ill loose a lot of flex till i step up on my lift but i guess we will see come this weekend :D Ive got 850/860 spring combo with 30mm spacers
Make sure to post photos.
$hit I was going to sears today to get 315/75-16 MTR/Kevlars.
Ill have to wait to see your pix

Ill have to have the tires mounted on to my spare set of LX wheels so it maybe a day or three(depending on finding someone intown open mounting tires this weekend) but i will most certainly be posting photos.

No I think he's saying FOR springs and the bilstein shocks make the 80 ride so nice, and thus the real problem with the OME setup is that it is so harsh and the shocks are not balanced to even out up and down travel. But that is just what I think he's saying...

And neither ir pertinate to the truck I was referencing, since I was wrong and he's on stock springs with spacers.

My q78-15lt measure about 36.5 @ 40 psi and they work fine with what I think is a 2.5-3"

Where did you get those tires and who makes them?

how do they do in the rain, mud, and on rocks?

Edit: Any idea if they make them for a 16in rim?

Those tall skinnies are a Q78-15 Gateway Buckshot Mudder bias ply. It was made by Denman for Gateway and thus is not currently available, at least the last time I checked on the web based tire dealers that carried them (National Tire and Wheel being one). About the same size as the Q78 swamper.

Looks nice. Pricey size though. How much did you pay a piece?

$160 :D

Got them from a guy who put them on his jeep and they didnt fit got 5 for 800...gonna sell the wheels they came with for 150 ...pretty sweet deal. Made the idea of getting the Coopers in a 35 a quickly fading idea. Need to pull a few more bits of the LX trim off that are getting stuck on the sliders

That's nice considering they are about $335 new. Just a little bit wide for me. Very nice though man. Keeping it low on 37's !

ya, no tractor tire. Ill flex it out today some where and see where im rubbing but up front it goes lock to lock with out rubbing. They ride great. Memphis is so flat its hard to really notice too much of a difference, they are certainly quieter then most any large mud terrian street tire ive delt with before

Yea, good times yesterday for sure...

This AM at Sonic, had a convo with some dude in a lifted Chevy...

Dude:"What are you putting those things on?"
Me:" The 33's? Took them off you want to buy them?"
Dude: "No the huge things..."
Me: "Ah those 37s are on a land cruiser..."
Dude: "That's not possible! Those are bigger then what's on my truck and I have 8" of lift"
Me: "Yeah, that's Bro"

HAHA I believe it, my buddy has 37s on 10" lift on his super duty, I always think how little it would take to fit em on my cruiser!

Yeah people don't believe you when you say it. It's like we've broken the laws of physics, and have to carry around a measuring tape just to prove the tires are actually 37" tall. But the proof is on the trails!

I think it is an 80 optical illusion. They seem to hide tires really well. 33's look small, 35-37 look normal.
