Anybody want to buy my 285/75/16 Duratracs mounted on black steel wheels? With a matching spare wheel with 285 Yokohama Geolandar AT-S... All about a year old, tons of tread left. Just not going to be using them with my new truck.

Also, in case anybody didn't get the memo, my HDJ81 parts are all up for grabs. Cam took the rear axle and steering wheel yesterday. Seats are spoken for too.

Interesting... I'm curious to see where this leads... Cam are you sure you don't need the front axle too? :flipoff2:

Or are you just trying to avoid this: :flipoff2::flipoff2:

Ah yes, fond memories.

I'm surprised the mosquitos aren't visible in that photo they were fierce that day. With any luck the days of broken axle shafts will be behind me. The plan is to narrow and upgrade the 80 FF housing.

And thanks for dredging up that photo.... really appreciate it. :flipoff2:

sweet... sounds like a cool project. Want to mail me your ARB? :hillbilly:

How much were you looking to get for the Duratrac's/Rims? I just bought 5 new tires a year ago (235/85R16), but regret not going bigger. I'll probably wait until mine are finished and upgrade to 255/85R16. But your tires/rims are certainly tempting...

I was just wondering what's the difference between Cam's face and a big hole where your rear end ought to be??

Hopefully that difference is to be measured in feet rather than inches....

He was stuck on that mountain for a while...I'm told what happens on the mountain stays on the mountain (unless penicillin becomes involved)

Mail you my ARB?? Id never trade the ARB for that redundant electrical semi functioning bit of unsprung weight the 80 guys call an e-locker.. The axle was a non locked version and Ill just swap pots. :)

4 Duratracs, 1 Yokohama AT-S, all 285/75/16, all with lots of tread, 5 matching black steel wheels.... $1000

Oh, my original ad was slightly misleading. The Yokohama is more than a year old. Actually I think it's like 5 or 6 years old. But it has always been used as a spare so still has like 80-90% tread. But the Duratracs were purchased last summer. And also have 80+% tread.

That is a good price. I'll have to think on it and do a bit of reading about rim offset requirements etc. for the 70 series.

Ya, you might find they stick out a bit. The flares on my 80 hung out about 1/2 inch past the tires. Without the flares the tires stick out about 1.5 inches. (Another reason I am selling them... cause I'm going flareless).

But the main reason I am selling is because of my new 70 km/day commute :( The stock tires on my new truck will save me gas $.

Ha. I do believe those "semi functioning unspring weight" lockers allowed me to go up that loose dirt hill 3 times... where your rig decided to lose 150+ lbs of weight the first attempt.

As in, both rear wheels.:flipoff2:

So your lockers were working that day? Hard to keep track, I often think your just stopping on the trail to recharge something electronic or re booting the windscreen you spend all your time staring at.... but perhaps you are just staring at the shiny blinking lights on the dash praying to the e-locker gods to favour you in your time of need. :flipoff2::flipoff2:
