Since the forum is continuing to grow, I figure it's time to setup a central thread specific to tire and wheel fitment. This post will develop over time. I used @sonk76's original spreadsheet for inspiration. Here's a link to the spreadsheet in case the file doesn't embed correctly below: LINK TO SPREADSHEET

Share your findings, but make sure to share as much detail as possible!

HOLD

@OGBeno please sticky.

Michelin defenders 275/50/R22 are the best option for stock 22 inch rims imho...atleast those who keep their rig on the road...mpg/power is same. keep in mind upsizing tires will affect mpg, power, mph, etc....

How do you upload to it, does it need to be done off my computer?
I've fixed the permissions so if you click on the "link to spreadsheet" above it'll take you to the file for direct edits. This can be done from computer or phone.

Has anyone had success with 17s? the benhardy youtube man looks like he got it done with tall and skinny 17s.

I know Slee has been fitting some of the icon 17” wheels on the 300s.

My OEM tires got a sidewall bubble after just 6000 miles. They don't seem that durable...

Woah, would that be under warranty? I have 13k miles on but I've only dones some forest road a couple of times

They don't warranty for bubbles because that's a road hazard and not a manufacturing defect.

In other words, they simply aren't designed to handle the loads off-road (to be fair, I did take them through some pretty sharp rocks) so there's nothing wrong with them to be warrantied.

Got new set of Outpost nAT 275/70R18
I was in between 285/65 and 275/70. The latter is taller side by side and it fills the wheel well more at the L height settings. No rubbing at any settings, with full lock in either side or Drive/Reverse

Looks nice. Can you post side pictures? Why did you go with Nokia and why not other brands at the 285/70/18 size?

I officially dove the rabbit hole of tires. Thanks @Docyota for showing me KO3s in 285/70/18 fitting with no rub. 😅

I have always admired the KM3s and have read BFG evolved them to a point that the road noise and durability is quite on par (if not better) with these new RT tires coming out. So, between the KO3s and KM3s (I have checked they are exact same size at 33.7) why should I go with the KO3s? Are they really that much more quiet?

I confess my inclination for the KM3s is purely aesthetics.

I was tempted by 285/70 with K03s per @Docyota post. I went with Nokian because it's lighter (2 ply vs 3) and I've been really curious to try the Outpost for a while. Nokian didn't have 285/70/18 or i would've try to see if that would work. I'll post side pics when i have a time maybe today

Get the KO3.

I have done some pretty hard offroading with that Nokian in p rating in a little diesel Hilux. Rocks, river crossings etc. Pretty quiet on the highway too.

Looking forward to the extra info from your experience.

That said, increasingly happy with the ko3's. Very stable, solid, comfortable.
