Yes, please report when you run those. That would be the definitive test for approach angle of the chin in H2. Highly recommend sliders. BTW, is there already a solution for that? I remember a discussion on the 600 that sliders were not easy due to the AHC lines around the frame, reason why none was available after 2 years from the 600 debut.I got in late, so I ran:
- Sections of Kokopelli
- Onion Creek
- Deadman Springs
- A bunch of unnamed trails in White River National Forest north of Glenwood Springs
I did not this time round, this is was a quick in and out trip with my kiddo. I'd like to run Fins when I return and have more time (and ideally sliders). The bumper concerns are overblown, I didn't have any issues with approach or departure on some ledges (12"-18"). Proper wheel placement is everything.
I saw your truck out there last weekend, I didn’t realize it was you…. Should have know. Awesome!!
Wish I could have made the formal CM but alas I failed to register in time. Already have time blocked out for it so figured why not.I saw your truck out there last weekend, I didn’t realize it was you…. Should have know. Awesome!!
Awesome! Are you going to “The Big Thing?” At the XO ranch?Wish I could have made the formal CM but alas I failed to register in time. Already have time blocked out for it so figured why not.
Ran into Tristan from ADGU on Main Street and had a lengthy conversation with him before hitting deadman.
Already have COTR planned and am planning a summer trip to Bozeman and then another fall trip back to Ouray or Sedona.
The Rav 4’s going to be putting in some work this year, in between Starbucks and Costco runs of course.![]()
Not currently, my buddy Nick (can't remember if you met him) is up there for the summer with his built 200 and LX7, so we're going to explore around MT.Awesome! Are you going to “The Big Thing?” At the XO ranch?

You'll be happy to hear that I returned to the overnight camp location from the Slee Tour of Colorado run ahead of LCDC a few years back!
The frame rails on the 700h have a lot going on for slider designers to try and sort out. Much more complicated than the lx570. It will be interesting to see what folks come up with.Yes, please report when you run those. That would be the definitive test for approach angle of the chin in H2. Highly recommend sliders. I see no problem here.I have 7 cars right now. Pretty sure my neighbors think I’m a drug dealer.
I count 8 different locking differential buttons or switches across them, wtf is my problem?
Im slowly taking over all my office building garage spots (I’m at 4) for these guys plus one for my Tacoma, so that my house doesn’t have any cars in the driveway or street.
Maybe it’s time to admit to having a problem…? View attachment 3896830
A couple of years ago, with a GX460, a heavily modified Tacoma, and a Land Cruiser 100, My wife asked me when I bought the Lx600, "why do we need another 4wd adventure vehicle?"I have 7 cars right now. Pretty sure my neighbors think I’m a drug dealer.

Floors me how much those country club memberships are.A couple of years ago, with a GX460, a heavily modified Tacoma, and a Land Cruiser 100, My wife asked me when I bought the Lx600, "why do we need another 4wd adventure vehicle?"
She did have a point.
In all seriousness, if you're otherwise making wise financially decisions and not going into debt for all the toys, have fun and rejoice in a wonderful reward of all your hard work.
Don't be like a past buddy of mine who graduated from 3 surgical fellowships with half a million in education debt, started a CT surgery job in August, bought a brand new BMW for the wife in September, a brand new Mercedes for himself in October, a $1.5 million house in February, enrolled his two kids in the local prep school, joined the country club....and them complained that he didn't have $20 to play with at the end of the month.
Haha, yes I agree about enjoying the rewards of success and not over extending!A couple of years ago, with a GX460, a heavily modified Tacoma, and a Land Cruiser 100, My wife asked me when I bought the Lx600, "why do we need another 4wd adventure vehicle?"
