2nd gen 4Runner seats in 1st gen 4Runner

I'd love if you'd take the time to post a demo... Looking to rehab the front seats in my 88 Runner and know that the cables are the main issue. I actually have a Gyro cable laying around and was wondering if that would work. A description or video would be awesome!
