2LTII Oil cooler split in half, is it weldable?

I think i found the reason why the head was toast. The previous guy used water instead of coolant which froze and cracked this in half, all the water leaked out, the temperature gauge doesnt work so it overheated

It's cast aluminum, so I doubt its repairable. I suggest trying to find a used one somewhere.

I bought one on ebay from some guy in Dubai for 190 eur, couldn't find it cheaper anywhere else
