2f wireing

Got a 72 55 series that i dropped a 75 2f in
Tried using the coil and ballast that were in 72 got started for a bit then nothing
The 75 i got 2f out of had set up wih igniter
Trying to wire it in but not having luck with wire diagrams in haynes book
Does distributer need the igniter to run properly and what goes where
Looks to me that theres supposed to be a sub harness between coil/igniter, starter and diz?

Reason i ask is that it seems like system goes fron coil to starter to distributer
Just not something im familiar with
And i dont want to burn out any components
But keep moving foward on this project
Am super low budget

should run with the original dizzy and coil setup

most likely there is something a miss with one of the parts
