This thread has gone to hell in a handbasket!!!!

STUCK in GA......I know you won't listen to me any more than anyone else, including the experienced members of this board including the moderators......Take a look at the title. Since you have never run 315s, you have no concrete personal experience on which to base a factual comparison. You have used this forum to run up the number of posts to what I would think is an extreme level for the short amount of time you have been here, and most of what you say is chat......I do that too, a quick jab here or there for fun but....

Reading your posts, for me, is painful. I can only imagine it is akin to a teacher with a PHD grading lit papers for remedial English 6 graders.....Only difference is, they have been trained to accept varying levels of the proper use of the language at that level and grade them.....I have not received that kind of training, so it is painful to read your run-on sentences, misspellings, and lack of punctuation that require extensive effort to decipher...Only to find no true contributive substance whatsoever.

When I do decipher them, no one had to tell me your age, although honestly I would have thought you were still a few years younger than legal driving age. I am not saying you are stupid, but in reality your youth shows through to an extreme degree.

I can only hope that you will take this in the manner in which it is intended, and read more and post less. The more you type, and the more you ignore taking the time to write clearly, offering factual based experience, the less time you will have to read and learn. And the more you are going to continue to piss people off.....Granted, the experienced ones here have obtained a level of technical knowledge that meets or exceeds most Toyota trained techs, and may even be referred to as over-the-top tech geeks.....That is not a bad thing when you need that info, and can learn from it.....At your age and level of experience you do not have a chance to contribute at that level.

As someone informed you several times, this is not your personal chat room. Unless you are asking questions, which would be the most useful approach for you, I do not think you should continue to post crap. You simply have demonstrated an ability to piss people off in a hurry, and that will continue unless you stop giving "your $.02" because in reality it is not worth that much IMO. Read and learn. Ask questions. Seek advice, but just don't give it! Please.

Now that is OPINION, I could be wrong, but I doubt it in this case...

I second the motion to delete all chat posts in this thread, including mine. A second thread could be started for Intl tech for the 80 overseas that has issues unrelated to US spec 80s.....or whatever is going on there.

Whew that one has building up for weeks! :flipoff2:

Cruisin in GA...... :flipoff2:

I think you meant stuck in GA, Cruisin GA is Bailey Quintrell and a highly respected member of this forum. That being said your point is right on point but I doubt he'll get it.

Is that JUST J springs or are their spacers of some sort?

The rears are just J's, fronts have 1.25" custom spacers to cure the stink bug effect. We also made drop brackets for the rear brake line, e-brake cable support and suspension stops. The sway bar mounts were cut and sleeved to 1.5" longer. The diff breathers were replaced and routed inside the truck with small fuel filters added. The front bumper was replaced with an ARB bull bar.

A new set of J's went on my truck along with most of the same brackets and we did some work on LandCruiserPhil's rig. It was a long day, I got to the shop at 8AM and left shortly after midnight, I am sore today, old guys should not crawl around on cold concrete for that long!

Big thanks to LandCruiserPhil and Medtro for their help.

A bad picture of Rob's truck.
