How do you like the silicone bronze wire? We use it at work daily on laser welders. I want to take some home to try out on some home jobs, and was wondering on how it performs compared to mild steel fill rod.

I love it. It melts almost instantly, so I use less heat, and that reduces how much the area warps. It flows out like a dream. It is very strong and grinds easily.

Exactly. We are going for the B-29 Superfortress look.

Once this is on a rotisserie, we will do all the bodywork on the underneath side and paint it. Im very excited to have the underside looking extremely nice.

We have been prepping and assembling all these parts and the vertical pieces which has many small brackets and parts to reassemble. Tomorrow should be a visually pleasing day.

The lower A-pillars that I already repaired have a bracket welded to the bottom, like a cap. It has a weld nut also where the fender bolts on. I am making new brackets now, and they are somewhat complicated.

This piece has been cut previously for a hose or something to pass through. Both ends have this, so I will patch it now.

This was cut off to access spot welds. I will weld this back on.

After we assemble most of these parts, I will sand blast some of these ugly coated areas and respray.

This one is done. Its one of the parts that is buried behind the rear apron.

This was a major part to move forward with assembly. It fits great! Pillars are being assembled now. We are trying to get the pillars on before the end of the day.
