22rte turbo coolant line bypass

I have a 86 pickup with the 22rte that I got for cheap. Got a radiator for a regular 22re and it’s missing the nipple for the coolant hose feeding the turbo.
Wanted to see if anyone’s ever bypassed that line to the thermostat housing where the temp sensor goes in. That temp sensor right now is broken anyways. I’d rather send $20 in hoses and fittings then $300 on the turbo radiator.

How about taking the radiator to a radiator shop and see if they can modify it.

That is what I would do. The line needs to dump into an open space, and that isn't at the former temp sender location.
