With special thanks to KLF for the link, I was able to score some OEM Toyota bearings ( 90099-10091) from the local dealer for about $8 clams a piece. (I'm sure the NSK 6204V number can be cross referenced for places like NAPA as well.)
That is compared to the roughly $150 they want for the adjuster pulley assembly which is the only way they sell it. They don't list or sell the bearings for the pulley , but it is the same bearing as sold for another part. I believe an alternator or something as I have come to find out. The parts guy asked me what were they for even, ha.

Very easy to replace, just banged the old one out with a socket and hammer and put in the new one with a little more finesse using a dead blow and a socket that made contact with just the outer race.

Started a new thread because I figured the title would help folks using the search function.

Now that is some useful information! Thanks.

It would be helpful if you could post which years of 22RE idler pulley this bearing applies to.

Not real sure of all the years applicable WDE, but the fix was for a 1992 4X4.
I'll check my '94 woodsmobile after It stops snowing and I bail the foot or so off the hood.:hillbilly:
A guess would be the late 80's early 90's trucks.:hhmm:
