22R high idle when warm.. blip throttle to go away.

I'm noticing an unusually high idle when coasting or between shifts. If I blip the throttle it will kick down and idle normally. I'm sure this is common and would like to know how to address this situation!

TPS could be the issue. When I had this problem it was the throttle body sticking open.

This is a carbureted 22r, does TPS apply to this?

No. It sounds like your choke high idle cam is sticking. That could be because the choke isn't fully open and it could be because the cam isn't dropping down like it should.
