I added a second set of brake springs to the TSB brake springs to fix the brake squeal in reverse. Did this same mod to my Tacoma and FJ40 a while back with good results.

I’m not sure what Toyota was thinking with their “new” anti-rattle spring but it was for sure the cause of the squeak. I would suggest adding a second set of springs even if you’ve already got the TSB work done. They will only install a set of springs on the lower pin.

Got the Snapshades windshield cover on.
