Well the "Spec" is pretty simple. You tell them the trim you want and that's what you get. I asked for an Overtrail + in grey, silver, earth, or incognito. I chose to forego black and white. Earth and Incognito with have the black top. SO whatever shows up first, when he calls I go pick it up. I kind of like the Russian Roulette of color choices. Keeps me surprised. My wife hates earth, I love the color! Whatever shows up I will be fine with. left out that it’s a Lexus GX 550 Overtrail + but I’m sure you picked up on that.

We looked hi and lo for this exact combo. Took a couple months but we found it. I lifted a Nori Green GX550 with a wescott lift. That color is amazing in person and in the sun!

Getting started on the rear lift gate sound deadening. Sounds like an empty oil drum inside…

Passenger side is easy to access with the speaker removed. I was adamant about matching the same amount of sound deadening on the driver side, but there is no giant access hole. So, I had to cut the large sheet in half and feed two pieces in a small opening at the bottom. Then squeeze my hands/arm deep in there to roll it all out.

Got more work done on my lunch. About 3.5 hours invested on the rear lift gate so far…
Tell me again what makes the new Prado so loud to the point it needs aftermarket sounds deadening?

I just asked why your brand new, current gen Prado needs sound deadening. That's all. It's a completely valid question and you came back at me with the 250-defender snark. I just ask because I have family who own a prior gen GX (Prado 150) and it's quiet as a bank vault inside.

This area of the lift gate sounds like hollow metal. I was able to get the right & left side by hand, but had to take off the wiper motor to get in the center. Made a huge difference after that, then I started on the inner door structure.

Finished up the rear panel got everything put back together. Total of 6 hours labor on the rear lift gate spread throughout the week.

Rear liftgate sound deadening video
Bro, have you been taking a nap for two months? What's the latest upgrade you have made? I took delivery of my Nori Green on Valentine's Day. It's been at Xpel for PPF this week. Next week I will be adding the Westcott roof rack, BP51 suspension, and a few other gadgets. I'll post pics once I get it all done.
