I'd venture to say you'd get a LOT more orders to the list once people get their $1400 stimulus money.

I'm looking at getting on the list possibly for a rear bumper, if all of us Los Angeles guys could get the kits closer than Pismo. Not saying having them shipped to Pismo isn't a great help, just thinking that maybe we could get a good number of kits shipped to somewhere in Los Angeles.
We can car pool to pismo but it would be better to get it closer to LA

There is already a truck bringing some bumpers to Pismo, seems easier to send someone up here to grab whatever necessary and take them down to LA than to have someone drve all the way up to grab them. Up to you guys.

I’ll go by and pick my set up. 100 series sliders. Debating if I want dual swing outs for my 80 rear bumper.

Put me down for a rear bumper, dual swing out with tire carrier, kit with flares.
Question since no one else loves cool stuff on their 80s in WV lol but will I get the discount but pay full shipping? Just curious.

Correct, your 10% discount is on the product from 4x4 Labs. You will pay normal shipping price unless you find someone to bundle your order with.

I'm in!

Oklahoma City, Oklahoma - 80 series rear bumper built w/dual swingouts, tire carrier, 3 gas can holder, flares

I'll be moving to Denver in July. So if they don't ship before then I will need to update shipping info. I would also entertain driving to Dallas to pick it up instead of shipping to OKC if that's cheaper.

As stated above, built bumpers are not able to be group shipped. They will shipped solo on their own pallet. Kits can be stacked together on a pallet, resulting in cheaper shipping.

@4x4labs room for a GX470 rear bumper in this group buy?

Where is he located? And does he have a set price already? You can DM me if necessary.

Count me in. I was just about to email Luke and get a quote when I decided to look at his stuff on 'mud. This is perfect timing as I nearly rattled my rear door off last week. I need to get the spare off the door itself.

Rear bumper, dual swingouts, two tire carriers and a hi-lift mount, 1990 75 series Troopy, in the Central Valley so I'd just head up there and pick it up.

On a side note, if anyone building from a kit would be interested in teaming up, send me a message. I have a number of small welding projects in mind. I'm thinking about setting up a welding cart for some of these projects but I don't want this bumper be my first project since high school shop class. I had a swingout spindle crack and fail on the road once. It wasn't my work but in any event I'd want to practice / be supervised before I build something structural.

I can offer a pair of hands, pickup/delivery service for the kits, etc.

Otherwise I'll find an installer. Not sure if Luke's bumper will require frame mods for the 75 series?

Talked to Simon at 4x4 Labs today.

First of all, no matter how many orders we get, we will get 10% off. Period.

This is a very large preorder. This will slow down processing, some kits might not go out for 30 days, built stuff could exceed their current 12-14 week build time.

As for bulk shipping, the max # of kits that they can ship on one pallet is 4. So shipping savings will be maximized in groups of 4 items (not necessarily people as some people have 2 bumpers, or bumper and sliders etc). I will try to get some ballpark pricing for shipping 1 item vs 4 items to a couple of our bulk locations and post those up to help you decide how you want to ship.

We agreed that the discount code should not be posted until right before the ordering window to prevent a dozen people from asking why it doesn't work.
On that note, he requested that:

***ALL ORDERS WILL BE PROCESSED ONLINE. DO NOT CALL YOUR ORDER IN PLEASE ***

He also stated that he will need to work out the logistics for prioritizing which orders go out when, especially as it pertains to the bulk shipping locations.

At this point it would probably benefit us to not spread the info about the GB to anyone else that's not in this forum.

Let me know if there are any questions that I might be able to help with.

Mike

I’m in for a rear bumper with spare tire and jerry can/yeti. Potentially interested in delivering to Colorado or NW Arkansas and having it installed. Are you guys doing the build yourselves? That’s at least 3.5 wrenches above my .5 wrench rating.

@bigreed I am not even going to attempt to weld this myself or even trust some noob to do this. I am going with already built and buyers can specify which they want (DIY or built) upon placing the order on their website.
