So end of week update, since we are in full go mode right now on the build. Not a lot to show with this kind of work, takes a lot of time/work though to get through the process.

These pics were mid-day, all this is curing now in the paint booth.

Monday we are planning to start assembly of the chassis.

What else? Today we worked out the five lug hub conversion axle and diff side. I admit this is our first time doing this conversion. We did confirm it will work before John said lets do it. Mixed info here on mud in my opinion regarding this subject. What I discovered today is we need to swap out the spider gears in the rear diff but not the front to run 105/79-series 5-lug hubs which have larger dowel pins and studs for the hub as well as bigger wheel studs. Albeit five lug. We also gain large diameter rear shafts and finer spline. We are retaining factory elockers for both ends. It is wired already for this. Keeping it short here, in summary; I do believe we have it all worked out, a lot of the parts are in hand, rest are on order. We are going to 4.3’s in the diffs.

This is our winch cage and also bumper adapter that allows us to fit the 79-series bumper to the 80-series chassis.

It is getting welded out because on Monday it goes out for powder coat along with a few other parts.
