I hope Andy got the carnage award...thought I had a bad first crawl. I will stick to forrest service roads...
No, there was way worse carnage than his.

Great seeing you, my friend. I enjoyed the conversation and I benefitted from it as well. Enjoy your time out West!

There is a CottonOverLand barrister charge tho. Send me $40

Home yesterday around 1pm.

Had great time; said it before it's like family reunion where you like seeing everyone!
Had blast; tons of trails then on Thursday had touch bad luck; blew rear ring and pinion in buggy. Then about 100yarsa up got pulled on our side getting pulled out.

I swear it was like folks came out of wood work; John from TRD parts and his buddy, Sadler, and Sam all helped get it torn down.
Then about 30-45 minutes later all back together and rolling again!

Can't say enough about caliber of people at event; I honestly feel better for having yawl in my life.

See yawl next year & between now in then hopefully on trail!

i didnt get to stay the full time. had a very ill son that called me leave early.

it was nice seeing all the camaraderie and different rigs together. glad i wasnt wheeling my full bodied DD on those trails.....done most of them in my jeep.....

thanks @Bodean @wct49 et al for putting it all together, i know it's a pretty monumental effort to make such an event work.....

cheers....

I agree it was a great event and the BOD worked there butts off. It was well oiled, fun having, beer drinkin, trail riding, crawl machine. It is really amazing to see what these rigs will do....or not do and yet start right up and drive off.

Here is @Land Speeder doing a little "Roll Tide" on Ultimate Adventure.

ROHE TIDE!! Gotta put a big E in it :D of course the way he's been ridin' that 2-wheeler it's gonna have to change to a little"e" before long.

He ran it twice last year and I think he took it to the bottom of Ingred's too. E is about the most talented driver I know, he Got the skilz, and when he gets a jar in his hand, his moves ain't bad either.

A 100 on Ultimate??? Wow! Didn't think it was possible to run that trail with a conventional rig. Roger from LLC told me he has run his Taco up it twice... But I was calling BS on that. Guess he might not have been lying after all?

Just wanted to say thanks to everyone, It was my first time at an event, and first time wheeling with other people. Killed my expectations, and going alone and not knowing anyone was no problem at all. Everyone there and all the CLC guys treated me like family. Best time i have had in quite a long time. Yall folks are all good peoples.

Come to Crawl for the first time and have a Legend lay hands on your rig all day....priceless:

By the way...
The whole event was well put together and wonderful every day. I want to personally thank Chris for the tire repair kit I won and JRob (I think) for the metric combination wrenches. Also thanks to Woody & Heather for the cups and tshirt.

I'm looking forward to seeing my extended family again soon. All y'all are welcome anytime at my place.
Mi casa es su casa,
Happy Trails!
Nick

I'm a little late on posting this. Life has been kinda crazy lately, so please pardon me.

As I've done for the past 3 or 4 years now, I delivered the leftover food from Saturday's dinner to a local men's shelter - Samaritan Ministries - last Sunday evening. I had to leave before the dinner and raffle due to wife's reunion in LR Saturday night, so thanks to Tony, JT, and whoever else made sure the food was safely stored in the refrigerator for me!

Here is what I delivered to Samaritan Ministries:
- pan of pulled pork
- small amount of brisket
- full pan of beans
- 1 1/4 full pans of coleslaw
- full pan of baked potato salad
- small amount of banana pudding
- 88 buns
- 24 rolls
- loaf of Texas toast
- small amount of ribs

Want to thank you all for making that possible again this year. The Crawl is always a reminder of the good in people and a display of pure happiness founded in a common love of Cruisers (and Toyotas in general). Thanks to CottonLand BOD and all those people who work hard all year long to make this the huge success that it is every year! Can't wait for SCC '17!
