How are you securing/fastening it down?
I’m running 2 320AH Dakota batteries. One underneath the left side wing of my Trekboxx that’s secured by a strap held down by an anchor and another that’s on top of my left side wing within a battery bag that’s also held down by a strap held down by an adjustable anchor rail mounted to the top of the Trekboxx.

Electrical update. I wanted to add the schematic I finally made to better document my auxiliary battery wiring. This arrangement has worked perfectly for two years and many trips with no changes....although I do have a couple upgrades in mind they aren't pictured here yet.

- I plan to upgrade the DC-DC to the new Victron Orion XS 12-12 50amp version before a cross country trip this summer.
- Also plan to replace the Litime 100ah aux battery with a new more energy dense unit of similar size but over 300ah!

Those two upgrades while not necessary are more nice to haves. The older Victron unit works flawlessly but does generate some heat that the new more powerful one won't and the 3x battery capacity will only come into play when I add Starlink and stay put for multiple days. I'm not interested in using more space for battery capacity I don't need but when the same size can do 3x more that is tempting.

Nice!
I have a Group 24 LiTime in the same location and considering upgrading to a bigger one with heater.
Can you confirm if your existing LiTime is a Group 31?
They have a new one out, 165 Ah with self-heater.

I think the 300Ah you are looking at is: 15.12 (L) x 7.64 (W) x 9.76 (H).

Yes, the one I have is the trolling battery that got some great reviews a couple years back and is standard group 31 size. You are right the 314hr? Is bigger than what I have and will take some extra massaging to fit. I’ll update in June when I’m back with the truck stateside.
