2013 LX570 seats are unbearable-seriously considering selling my rig

i have an 08 and my wife an 2011. I love the seats and the ride. Not sure what you re experiencing.

We're all shaped differently, so a comfortable seat for you may be an aching back for someone else after a long day.

Those sheel-mann seats look nice and I wonder how expensive they are, but if they can do custom seats for just about any vehicle (and including a Land Cruiser / LX). Even if they cost a few thousand per seat, it's likely to be more cost effective than changing vehicles and should also result in a more comfortable seat in the end as it will be tailored to the requirements of the specific person. The trick may be in figuring out which option is best.

I would have S-M make up something. You can make a lot of extra space that way. And the advantage is that you can merely re-install the stock seat when it is time to move on. Or find a LX take-out seat and find someone who is willing and able to change even the structure of the seat to make it work. Not your corner shop. Find a pro. The hot rod guys usually know who. You will need to pay close attention to air bags.

This is a very subjective subject as I find the seats to be super comfortable. Just did 10 hours in mine.

It is all subjective. On longer trips I do wish the seats were deeper. I'm 6'6" and I don't get enough thigh support.

I'm only 6'4", but have a 36" inseam - how about no thigh support at all? I wish the seat were overall lower, longer and went further back; but all that said, I manage to enjoy long road trips just fine.
