2012 BOD members needed

Yeah it's that time again, all seats are of course up for nominations and elections in January.

The Ga Cruiser 4WD club is your club and members (not the BOD) are responsible for it's well being. Enthusiastic members are appreciated and strongly encouraged to get involved

President:
Responsible for keeping the rest of the bozos in line and doing their jobs. Sets the tone and direction for the club.

Vice President:
Generally plans the events and needs someone with general organizational skills. Planning for events is mostly very easy and not labor intensive, just needs a little attention now and then.

Membership
to me the most important position there is. Responsible for keeping up with visitors and follow up calls/emails and retaining current members. New members are the life blood of most clubs and without this position clubs ultimately dissolve.

Secretary:
Responsible for taking the monthly minutes

Treasurer:
If you don't know what this person does please don't apply

TLCA Rep
Represents GC on TLCA meetings and events. Requires a monthly conference call.

There are several current members that would make excellent candidates and haven't yet served on the BOD, hint hint hint...

It would be great to get some fresh faces with new ideas.

Richard indicated he's be interetested in doing something next year and Robert said something about it awhile back so hopefully they'll be candidates.

Josh volunteered to be prez again if no one else volunteers.

I'm volunteering myself to the sidelines next year, need a break.

Haven't heard from Jason, his wife is about to give birth to another little one so I suspect he will be a bit tied down but who knows.

The 2012 schedule needs to be set perty soon so the prospective BOD members need to stand up, just sayin'.

I know how to dial into a conference call and actually lead cross functional teams in a highly matrixes environment
