I installed some Orangeboxx Molle Panels and fashioned a bracket to be able to use the retractable cover. The prototype is going to made better soon.

I also installed Orangeboxx's tailgate table.

I love the rear table, I went with another make but I have found it to be extremely useful, especially for making quick meals or mixing drinks while at the ranch or when hunting.

Added the

WINSGO Car OBD Window Closer Open+ Side Mirror Fold Spread LHD Left Hand Drive For Lexus GX GX400/GX460 2011

Works really well.

Added a few things to the rig's electronics, I added a mount for my gps, GROM's Vline, and moved the camera to the spoiler to get a better view when in reverse. With the Metaltech Lancer's spare tire mount being off center and in case I put a bag over the spare, the camera mount on the spare wasn't optimal for me. I will, however, be installing a second rear camera to replace the rearview mirror as the spare takes up too much of the rear window perspective.

The view from the morning outing.
Added a rubber protector to the inside post of the Metal Tech Lancer bumper. I have found that when the swing arm can't be swung out to its full range of motion, the rear door can hit this beam. The rubber mount keeps the scratches at bay. I also have installed the LFD roof rack rails to the roof. I went with this rack over the more substantial racks because of cost and overall height. When my son takes this to college in the Fall he can remove them and store them easily when using it as a daily driver and getting into garages that have a 6' 4" clearance.

With the Vline addition, I added a front camera to rig. It really came handy when the terrain got steep and visibility over the hood wasn't great.

Since the Vline had me working on the electronics. I also added to charging USB ports. One inside the center console's armrest compartment and another at the back of the center console for the rear passenger to charge.

Is it easy to get back to the factory screen for HVAC settings, factory map, general Lexus settings, etc. with the Vline?

It is very easy to get back to the Factory settings. I just have to hit the AUX-USB button and it turns off the Vline. The other way around has some glitches. It isn't always very smooth. connecting to car play or Android auto also doesn't happen at the first try. Also, the back up camera doesn't always work when the system has to flip from the Vline to the camera. There are some quirks. My main gripe is that the VLine doesn't allow for a SIM card to be added so it has to be hotspoted from your phone or through a usb hotspot.

So I have an issue with the Lancer bumper that I have not been able to resolve. I mounted the parking sensors on to the bumper. The middle sensors are using the tilted bracket, but I am still picking up the rear wheel from the swing arm. Has anyone been able to get the middle sensors to work or is this a lost cause?

I also put a silicone license plate frame on the plate. It covers the sharp edges and keeps me from slicing my hand when closing the swing arm and not paying attention to where I grab.

Went a little overboard with the cameras...the rig has four now.

Two in the back- Bottom cam goes to the Vline and the top goes to the rear view mirror display

On the front - Lower cam goes to the Vline

Both rear view and Vline engage in reverse with two different perspectives. Had to turn off the parking sensors as they pick up the rear tire carrier.

While I was adding the dashcam, I decide to add a Midland GMRS radio.

Things I learned:
Need the constant load springs, bottomed out ten times in the rear. Sent out for new ones.
The rig handles great and can keep up with my Jeep buddies in most cases.

Impressed with:
The Ironman foamcell set up
The Metal Tech Lancer bumper
The ALL-TOP Heavy Duty Portable 12V Air Compressor Kit (only beat by my friend with a CO2 tank)
The Nitto Ridge Grappler tires

My cup holder hack worked really well for all the bumps. Didn't have a spill on the entire trip.

The FCP's perform better the faster you go in my experience.

We're doing the Mojave road in two weeks! How was it? My wife and I are looking forward to it!

My GF and I did the trail and enjoyed it very much. Do the trail soon as the weather is only going to get hotter. The weather is perfect right now.
Bring Binoculars as we saw Desert Bighorn Sheep.

I always keep a pair of field glasses tucked under my seat. Also on these types of trips I bring my Fujifilm S1 bridge camera with a focal length of 24-1200 mm which will zoom in on almost anything (if I can keep a steady hand at max zoom!).

Was up by Lake Berryessa for some Spring Turkey hunting.
Finally was able to setup the Moon Shade awning and was very happy with its performance and versatility.

Just received the springs to switch out to the make the rig stiffer under load.

I am going to get a roof pod and a hitch platform. Almost had the opportunity to get a pig and realized that taking it home would pose a challenge with the amount of stuff I was already carrying.
