Time to set the date and location for the 2011 Annual Meeting.

We'll start off with a few suggested dates, and then majority rules by an online poll.

Also, any thoughts on location this year? I'd (selfishly) like to see something more west than Harrisonville.

Finally, the President and Secretary positions are up for election. I'd like to turn over the president position in the hopes/expectation of pumping some energy into our club and possibly take it into new directions.

I nominate Kelly for el presidente.. :)
Probably should have asked him first huh? Nah.. If one doesn't step back quick enough one gets picked.
He seems to have more energy than i do.. and he'll ask for help when needed and he'll provide help when asked.... What more do you want? well you'd want him to accept the nomination, that's what..

Kelly - interested in the President position?

Looking for someone to step up for the Secretary position. Debie has done a great job. Who's next? If you have concerns about the amount of time involved, ask Debie, it is very reasonable and the pay is fantastic!

For some reason, I have not seen this thread yet.

As I have yet to have a rolling rig, president seems a stretch for me.

I would throw my hat in for Secretary, as an accountant, I am used to the money side of things.

This year personally may have some bumps, so give me a year to commit to "commander in chief".

We have the Belton Old City Hall reserved from 11-2. The cost will be $50.00. We must be out as scheduled as there is another group coming in behind us. I am asking for tables and chairs for 50 people. If this is not enough I need to know so more can be set up. We will be responsible for removing all our trash. We can use the kitchen to help clean up, but not to do any food preparation. We need to start a list of food to be brought. We have plenty of brickst frozen from our last outing and some pulled pork. We will need sides, deserts and buns. I think we still have plenty of plates, plastic ware and napkins. Everyone will bring there own beverages. Alcholic beverages ARE NOT allowed anywhere on the premises. Nor is any form or tobacco in the building. If you have any questions please contact me.

As to the offer to be secretary, thank you and you are nominated. However you won't get to handle the finances, that is the job of the treasurer. Sorry. All positions are for 2 years.

'scuse me while I whip this out....

Are you saying that we have to drive all the way over to the other side of the city and put up with the gang Erik, Eric, and Erique, without any sobriety elimanating potion?

"Yeah, I'm in."

shhhhhhhhh!!

Don't look at my foam cup either.

Scene opens.......

The clouds parted, and a voice from the heavens came in a booming voice.....

"It is only an open container if something is in it when viewed!"

course we can move it to a garage party later at someone's abode.. and that's a lot of Eric's .. Sheesh..
Anyone need any weird parts.

Okay, I don't want to be a wet blanket, but since they set up for us and the group after us, there may be someone on the premises while we are there. We did sign (read I signed) a contract and I don't think we want to get kicked out. also, we might want to use this place again since we couldn't find anything else that didn't charge an arm, a leg, and a first born child. But in the end it is up to the rest of you. My house is close and I suppose I could be talked into moving the party there after the meeting.

Ah, just joking around. We can play by the rules, and we understand ethics.

I am up for an after meeting though.

HOw bout a few more smaller social gatherings during the year other than just events..
Put that on the calender. It's not all about the wheeling.

To fill rob's spot if he moves out of the VP position I would like to nominate Colin Crowley for the VP spot... He's a Second Generation TAC'er, Drives a shiny red FJ40 and has a great smile :)
