My 12ht had a big chunk of foam in between the injection pump and the block.

It was pretty well nibbled and gross

It also had 10 years of squirrel nest on top. All the injector holes full of nutshells and hair and needles 🤣

For some reason I leave the big hunk of foam at the back of the oil pan on the 12HT.
It keeps the oil saturation high and protects from rust I suppose. I've already seen enough maple seeds
and crap on the 5.7. I'm going to hit it with high pressure air as soon as I fill the spark plug tubes back up with coils.

Nice work on the plugs and gaskets. Man that is a big motor! 3.5 Mini cooper motors, LoL.

Well no pics so far but lowering kit is on without issue. Working on fitting the airbag brackets now, but work interrupted me.

Mouse built a nest in the heater of the BJ74 so that had to come out yesterday and get pitchforked into the field. There is now
a screen covering the heater plenum fresh air inlet.
Reminder to you all: Rats and mice can literally walk right into your heaters. First defense is to put 1/4" galvanized screen over
the firewall opening up behind the wiper transmission linkage. Galvanized is important because rats will not chew into galvanized
metal. I seen them chew thru a 2" nail in a 2x4. They don't like galvanization. Also, bigger than 1/4" and they can fit their skulls
thru, if the skull fits, the rest will follow.
Second defense: select 'RECIRC' on the fresh air on the dash whenever you park. At the very least they are unable to access the
heater and the rest of the truck.

I hate those little buggers. I had to replace the rear seat, carpet, seat belts due to one of those buggers.

Found decomposing remains of that mouse in a trap in the BJ74 so that problem isn’t anymore.
Got Tundra lowering kit and airbags done.
38” at each wheel well opening. Canopy is level along the rails. Handles nice, corners are better. Hauled a bunch of stuff to the dump and sure makes getting in and out so much easier. 6-7” lower tailgate. Running 11 lbs in the bags for now. New gears finally enroute for the 60. So dual ARBs soon for that.
