That’s the same farmhouse, yes. It was pretty cool. Came down into Osoyoos at a crawl.
Never driven down that hill in all these years with absolutely no plowing and no brine solution at all.
Was a heck of a drive.

Dumbo! Yes, its a bugger to park sometimes I like Costco spots ok
17' 3" long
15' 3" wide

Those new tires might be crap on icy Coq. They are a different animal in the forest, not a hard day but they
proved to be very good today. Nice! Now I only have to worry about random gun nuts not actually shooting me.

Recent pics. The trail will be done but need chainsaw to take out a couple of trees as I go.
The riffraff have been busy on Hayes Mt

Well, FB came thru big today!! Found a Leer 100XL top of the line canopy for sale $500 up in Qualicum Beach. Got yakking, found out the newer model double cab canopy still didn’t fit. The guy said it was his wife’s ex-husbands canopy he’d left there for a few years. Just wanted it GONE - so he gave it to me. FREE!! Haha! It’s a mess, but it’s on the truck for now.

Great score!! Congrats!

Got rear door hatch latch replaced. 3rd brake light replaced. Damn it looks good. Rubbed on the climb up Mt Hayes. Just can’t make it fit. So finished cleaning it up and sell it. Keep looking for something that’s so rare.

How are you at glass work? I'd consider massaging it a bit for a custom fit. If it was shortened a couple inches.. 🤷‍♂️

Nope, thought of it. It's worth too much to screw up.

Then don't screw it up... :D

I know what it's like... try cutting into and modifying a $3000-5000 prosthetic socket... or a pair of them.

That would be easy, that needs to be done if you are doing it.

Weirdness continues, :princess: commented on how good the truck looks with the cap on it. I replaced the rubber floor mat with
anti-slip carpet piece. So long as she likes it, likes riding in it then I'm good.

I had a guy come driving across parking lot to ask if I'd sell my Tundra. He thinks the reg cab kicks ass and can't find one.

RCSB = regular cab short box. 8' is a long box.

That truck is well priced though, but 2wd if same one I saw on Facebook.

It was bound to happen, I only hope it's what I think it is. Rats....
Came home last Saturday, woke up Sunday to Christmas tree of dash lights. Won't shift above of 4th, 4Lo light and Anti-skid light
won't extinguish. Couple of codes for knock sensors, 2 of them right side.
WHY TOYOTA would you put the knock sensors and wires under the intake manifold???
Pulled the plugs, two on the left hand bank have oil all over them, and two on the right hand bank are corroded and dead.
So running on 6 cyl, I'll post pics tomorrow.
I took the air intake off, cleaned out the foam and so far have 4 plugs in on the left hand bank. I didn't have torque
specs so I came in to get that.
Found a good source, pictures and tips!

Doesn't matter what car; they always need something. Oil is from leaking valve cover gaskets I assume? (ie. it's not from in cyclinder I hope). Is your problem just spark plugs then? I go with iridium NGK for everything now. They're good for well over 100,000kms.

From your link, I see this picture in one of the topics. Is this really how your exhaust manifolds look? Jeeze, pretty nice for OEM!

Yeah, those are pretty sexy exhaust. I don’t think mine are that nice. The oil is around the seals on
the spark plug coil ignition tubes. The valve cover gasket itself is still good but it gets replaced with
tube seals. Problem is the oil comes over the top of the tube and fills the tube down to the plug with oil.

Here’s the plugs. Scott can see that two of the ceramic ends are buggered. The second / third on the left bank are oily so I’m replacing that side. I’m not that ambitious so the right side doesn’t leak I’m not touching it.

I found chewed foam. To be honest I had absolutely no idea that new engines have gaps and plastic bits that used to be metal. These foam pieces, not sure what the reason is but they collect a lot of crap. It’s more complicated just stripping the engine than fixing the problem.
