Looking for a very well maintained FJ with excellent records, automatic, and less than 100k on it. Mods are totally fine, just want something with a solid history that we can get in and go knowing the previous owner took great care of it.

With that budget your should be able to find a nice low miles one. Maybe don’t tell someone who’s truck your looking at your budget, from what I’ve seen selling or what people are asking just the special edition one s with low miles are selling for much more than 30k or dealerships are “asking” those types of prices but unless something great or low miles they sit on the lot at that price.
If spending more than 25k you should get 50k or less miles kinda easy. Lots of low mile ones out there, this was a common vehicle for people to buy and not daily drive more so than the average vehicle.
On the fjcruiser forums often called the blue forums you can find a forsale section for just fj cruisers. Looking for an auto will make it easier as well. If you post a wanted add there maybe don’t post your budget, that is a high budget and you can probably save some money.
