Hey guys new to the forum now that I am considering selling my 09 LC.

Long story short, this was ordered back in 09'. Only driven a few times a year and only has put 6k miles on it which the Vin report and car fax will agree with. Its never been in the snow, or sand either, and was always garage kept and put away professionally waxed.

Our family has a few vehicles, and this just doesn't get driven as often as it should and that is why the miles are so low... This thing is literally brand new. I wanted to know what the value of this really is because of the condition and miles. I was hoping you'd be able to help me out, cause I was unable to find the "pricing" section I've heard of on here... I know roughly what it is worth, but wanted to get some true opinions on what this could sell for.

cheers

Look it up in NADA guides. It will give you a good idea plus extra value for the mileage.

Then add a couple grand for all us cruiser nerds that are willing to pay more than it’s worth to say we bought it with only 6,000 miles.

Expect to get offers of a few thousand dollars less in CA because it’s from Idaho so it has “rust”. Expect to get offers from the east coast for a few thousand dollars extra because it’s from Idaho and has “no rust”.

NADA gives you about a 9k bump for the mileage over something with more standard mileage use. Not sure I agree with NADA on that but there is no big mystery to pricing for a stock vehicle.
Most credit unions use NADA values, it's probably a better place than here to get a quick answer to your question.

NADA trade in is $31.8k and retail is $37k and I’d say that’s likely pretty accurate maybe a little low. Problem is much above that and you’re competing with much newer trucks, and miles mean very little on these relative to most vehicles.
Agreed, 2009 is still far behind in technology and safety features. Even being able to Bluetooth music wasn’t in a 2009. So mileage is great but I’d say around $30,000.

I see about 10 2008-2009 Land Cruisers with 80 or even 100k + miles listed for 30-40k all over auto trader... I don't think that 30k is an adequate value considering the sheer fact that those also do not have the features you have mentioned, and much higher miles than mine... side note, anyone have a link to doing the Tesla dash conversion successfully? Just saw that online and that sure is a change!

Well if you believe that, and what seller wouldn't, then post it up for what you believe its worth and the market will let you know if you are right.

What a vehicle is listed for and what is sells for are two different things. As are value vs. price someone is willing to pay.

The NADA guidelines are just that, guidelines. So, list it for what you think it's worth and find out if someone is willing to pay that.

I’m about to be in the market for a 200. I need to sell my E92 M3 first... What is your time frame for selling?

I'd be interested but...lack of detailed pictures, new member status, and no listed price? Just a weird vibe from this one. I'm sure if you posted more detailed exterior, interior, undercarriage pictures and posted a price you have in mind you'd get a lot more attention.

I tend to think it's worth somewhere close to 40k since you asked. The asking prices on Autotrader are largely irrelevant given people can ask whatever they want, and also because there are no other 2009 LCs for sale with your mileage. I see the same LCs and LXs that are asking too much on Autotrader sit there for months. Most buyers will sort price low to high.

IMO, you'll need to post the VIN and better yet the Carfax if you're serious about selling it. GLWS.

Alright yall! if you'd like the Vin, message me.

Will also send you over pictures of the under carriage, roof, sides, interior, engine, tires, wheels, whatever you'd like.

Will also have it fully inspected by a Land Cruiser builder & mechanic in town before the sale.

48k for the truck

As a recent buyer of an 08. I would much rather by a LC with 50K-80K than one with 6K that wasn't driven much and sat for most of its life.... Mileage is just one component of condition... components still deteriorate with age. Just one persons opinion.... 48K can get you a really nice 2013+ land cruiser in the 50-80k range. GLWS.... I am very interested in what it will sell at..

I see a 16 with 57K miles listed for 49K.

Not sure miles on these trucks makes that much of a premium. Most folks will want many of the upgrades on the 13-15s and even 16-19s.

Good luck as maybe you will find someone looking for the older generation willing to pay that kind of premium.

I hope you get it, but I doubt you get a penny over $35K. Hope so though!

Thanks for posting an advertised price... but we aren't even in the same zip code for my interest. As others have mentioned, I can get a newer 13-15 with ~50k on the clock (which doesn't bother me)... and that seems to be where my search is taking me. GLWS.

Also, to attract serious buyers (especially at your asking price), I would strongly suggest adding more pictures of the vehicle.

Suggest posting the VIN.
Every listing on Autotrader has the VIN posted.

Also, what Forerunner said, you’ll need to post these pics here.

If you make every potential buyer PM you for these, you’ll have a much smaller pool of buyers.
