2009 Glove Box Door Repair

The mechanism that provided spring tension to the locking tabs on my glove box stopped working. I have to manually extend them to get the glove box to shut. Is there a way to repair the glove box door or is replacement the only option? Thank you.

I wiggled the doobiflogits around while shooting some keyboard type compressed air in both sides, works close to great again...
