FYI, my transmission did end up with a P2759 code. I replaced the harness inside the transmission (~$60 part) and fixed up some of my aftermarket lockup switch wiring and it went away. The trans also had some intermittent weird gear and shift behavior that dissapeared.
So I would recommend also replacing the harness if one of these is having any other trans issues.

@Rednexus You got P2759 after you rebuilt your valve body or the harness was causing similar/same issue?

Thanks for the info! I appreciate it. Forum has been great for this kinda funny issue. I just got the truck and luckily CEL remains off for this so it should still pass emissions and i can get the title transfered.
Now, is this a 'while youre in there' item or, when you say inside the transmission do you mean inside the transmission?
I'm hoping I can take care of this with the tranny in the truck because otherwise the missus
is gonna raise an eyebrow - and she'll raise both when she sees the bill. 2 years doesnt sound too bad.
Ok, I did it.
I'm still waiting for ambient temps to cool down to check the fluid levels; then I'll do the test drive. But anyway, these are the videos that helped me disassemble and reassemble the A750f in my '06 GX470:
Both videos are from an account called IPT Performance Trans - they seem to know what they're doing. Really good tips and explanations in the video.

I also replaced the wiring harness while I was in there.
I had never worked on transmission before. Transgo customer service told me not to. Several write ups told me not to. That sealed the deal - I had to.
I will report back about how it turned out for me - I have an appointment with a mechanic in a few weeks to reset the computer, which I believe is required to realize the benefits of the fix.

It didn't work. Had a mechanic do a reset and... no improvement. Now looking for a used A750f.
