My 05 LX has been having some weird electrical issues for over 6 months now. And I made the big mistake of taking it to the dealer over the summer and it fixed nothing...

Here's my issues:

Started with hazards going off constantly, sometimes in D I could toggle them off, most of the time in P I couldn't toggle them off. And sometimes when the car was off they went off but not always.

Then this got worse and they were always on. Pulled the turn signal fuse and of course they went off, but now I have no signals....

Then it escalated to when I turn off the car, the dash remains illuminated, key is out, AC still blowing! Keyfob buttons stop working basically the car is in a frozen state and will die once the battery is empty. This happens regardless of if I have the turn signal fuse in or out.

Dealer thought it was a "parasitic draw" from the driver door... Had it for almost a MONTH! Never again. When I got it back it was normal for about a day, next day the hazard thing comes back. And within a few days the ignition ghost comes back. This truck has been sitting a lot lately, been out of town and got married etc, haven't had time to bring it back to the dealer or make a big stink yet but was wondering if anyone has any ideas or recommendations?

ChatGPT thinks its the integration relay, and had me pull AM1 and AM2 to prevent the truck from killing the battery every time I pull the key.
Neighbor who fixes cars thinks its a ground somewhere thats bad.

I will probably take it to RPM Garage, I'm in the LA area. They're a bit far for me but they were great a few years back. On top of that the smog is due in a few weeks, DOH.

Do you have any water intrusion at either footwell?

No water intrusion. Fuse box on driver side looks good. Earlier this year I replaced the cabin air filter on the passenger side and that looked normal over there. I did used to have a drip on the passenger side when the AC was on but that was a few years back.

I DO however... have ants in the vehicle sporadically. Ants in my house too.... I know they love moisture especially in dry Southern California

check two places for moisture, under passenger seat where the amp is, and then behind the glove box. If you see any rust, you'll know thats a potential problem.
