Engine and transmission are back in, brake lines are done, now mocking up headers. Up next customer stainless exhaust!

That would be amazing! Would love to meet as many people as possible on the way.
There is a neat piece of Route 66, here in New Mexico, that was used before they built a more direct route in 1937. The section, south of Santa Fe, was part of the Spanish-era Camino Real, and there is an un-paved section on BLM, and National Forest. The history of this trail goes back to the 1600s. A historical description from the National Park Service

T-1 week until I drive sunflower 750 miles back to college. Lots of work to do before I leave.
Today I finished the new brake lines.
Built custom Y pipe, repaired old headers, and cut and routed 2.5 in stainless exhaust.
Removed old weatherstripping from doors. (Thanks mom for letting me use the dining table) I plan to POR15 around the edge of doors and re install new weatherstripping.
