Is anyone running anything smaller than the stock 18's on the 200 to accommodate a thicker tire wall for a softer ride? Not looking to offroad, but would like to further soften the already amazing ride! Cheers

There are 17" options that fit, the Toyota Rock Warrior wheels off the Tundras are a popular option. 16" is a no go on the 200 series unless you want to get crazy with shaving down your brake calipers for additional clearance.

I'd check your tire pressure too before you go making changes. Even a couple PSI can make a difference in ride quality. If your truck has LT tires on it, and you're not doing a lot of off-road driving a P rated tire will have a significantly softer sidewall.

Currently running Icon Six Speed wheels that are 17”. I prefer the look of the balloon tire with the smaller wheel as well as the ride quality. Seems to soak up the bumps nicely when they are set about 38psi.

Icons, Rock Warriors and Evo Corse Dakar's are 3 options in 17". I think Braid and one other make whose name I can't come up with at the moment also have a 17" option with a correct offset.

My DakarZeros: (bunch more pics in my sig line)

Big +1 on the Ridge Grapplers. I have them on the 200 and a big Denali HD and am about to put them on a third vehicle I like them so much.

Tad, I have looked at your truck tons of times on the forum and love your setup. You still running with the stock height or did you add spacers to the front? Looking at doing something similar with BFG AT KO2's. I too want to run the DakarZero wheels but the price and long lead time has me thinking about the newer Method 313. Not a lot of options out there in 17's with minimal offset and a preference of hub centric.

@Noodleman If you are in this for ride comfort make sure whatever size wheel you run you can get an appropriate NON-LT tire for it. Any LT tire, from C-load up to E-load requires roughly 10psi more than a non-LT tire, and this has a dramatic effect on ride quality. Tire weight does too.. LT-C rated will be marginally heavier than your stock p-metric.. an E-rated will be dramatically so.

Keeping all of this in mind, but still wanting a decent all-terrain tire, I went with the 17" TRD rock warriors and toyo open country ATII in P285/70R17 and am very happy with them, including ride quality. 13# lighter per corner than my old e-rated 18" KO2s, 10psi less required.. basically similar weight and pressure to stock landcruiser tires.. and they look fantastic. Time will tell if they hold up to my use.. but it's pretty mild compared to some on this board.

Would you mind posting a picture of your truck?

For the record.. I’m running the 10mm spacer in front, and have my third row out.

Center caps are still off while I clean them up

I was especially happy with how much better these sat flush with the side of the truck. They are similar width to stock but 10mm less offset. That plus the extra sidewall bulge from 17 vs 18 means it doesn’t have that wheels-inboard of the body look of stock. But the fenders will still catch all the mud

Dunno why the flies like my truck right now.. something about the color in this light. there are dozens on it

Lots of guys powder coat or plastidip their rock warriors depending on the colors they want. I’ll be leaving mine alone.

Yep, I’m still stock height. May want to see what MLO has in stock because they usually order a few extra sets when they get a container.

Yeah, I called them this afternoon. No black versions in stock. Deciding between waiting or going with another option. First world decisions....
