200-series Pinnacle of "Land Cruiser" in the States?

The J250 is what it is. Even our neighbors to the South know this and formal info from Toyota shows it is a 120/150 follow up. If they sold it here badged like this there would be clarity and in the US just a comparison
with the GX460, which it happens to lose hands down… 😂

Why? Just read the recall filing and stick to official information. LX & GX are recalled and due to receive new engines. Toyota replacing engines now for no reason out of the goodness of their heart?
Show me all the grenaded GX and LX motors or stfu.

I put late 90s Supra seats in both my FJ40 and my 60s

My gripe I guess is the 200 is supposed to be the top line luxury model, yet its seats are subpar
Yup. I find my Supra seats significantly more comfortable to my Land Cruiser which is hilarious for a sports car from the 90s. The first 20k miles in the LC they were particularly stiff, now they are a bit better but still. Definitely feel more comfortable and supportive in buddies Escalade or even TRX. I did not expect them to be as comfortable as my Lexus LS or S class seats, but they're not even close.

Yeah, they were amazing

If I remember correctly, they were a directly bolt in to the FJ60 with zero mods also.

Anyone focusing on this discussion, should forget all these, and just go to Barranquilla. Thank me later. 😉 😆

Looks like this puts the various pieces together as to why latest generation engine designs are not as robust anymore. Good the 3 UR-FE needs plenty fuel 👍🏻

And why in my BMW 535d I have coded the auto start stop to off and hybrids are an even bigger long term problem

We may be going down a rabbit hole on engine oil pressure, but I would imagine the 12-15 psi hot idle in the V35A is not helping that engine last long term. +1 for engineering designs to meet EPA requirements.
