What wheels on the LX? I tried zooming in, but no joy. That colour looks 👍

They're Ultra Extreme 107

Those spiders' are peeking out ... great looking stance. Ordered some BORA 0.75" spacers recently - they are black though.

Some social distancing off-road this weekend in the Otay Lakes San Diego region. Came upon these WW2 bunker relics up in the hills.

Bonus hill climb vid. Videos never do grades justice but this was one that was really steep and slippery. Prob not something you'd want to even to do on foot. The LX keeps its "no drama" namesake which makes for boring vids, as it was surefooted in this loose gravely hill climb that had the other vehicle slipping and clamoring up the hill.

Hard to get a hill perspective like that. Nice! ...Not even breathin.

It’s a family thing.

Sisters white 2011
Mom and Dads 2016, (I hate the Wheels)
Mine 2004
Missing from the pic 2 Fj60’s, 1 FJ Cruiser, and a 40 in pieces.

Other Sister had a 2018, but she traded it for Denial XL, her status in the family is in question currently. Ha

In my backyard. No invite? :steer:

^I've yet to ever get out with other cruisers! Need to remember that next time. Are you a part of any particular off-roading group?

I have been over the years, not so much anymore. I'll send you my # if you want to get out again.

Had some fun today.

Found this little spot to play. First time was smooth as silk, no-drama-llama. Second time (in video) I went a little bit off the line and had some wheel spin, but still went along nicely. High mode, low range, centre diff locked.

Went down a super tight trail that I hoped would prove to be a shortcut back to my home neighbourhood. That idea got rejected at about 10:52 into the video. If the LX were an inch narrower I could have fit! At that point I was literally 15 minutes from home. Going back out and getting home took around 1.5 hrs, instead. Bummer.

This trail doesn't see anything but dirtbikes and ATVs, thus it was proper Lexus country.

Wide-angle camera makes it look like a huge FSR. Trail was mostly narrower than the LX, steep, with a ton of loose rock, mud, the occasional ditch, etc.

I think you could of stroked the blue gate pass. My buddy had a gate to his land that laid down but not all the way until you rolled over it. It was pretty slick but in this case you made the right decision. Lol. Cool trail. I see that other truck approach at the same time. MIB kind of thing? Sentinels?
