I am running standard 285 60 18 what am I regearing?
Not sure how it will impact a Diesel torque curve, but for our petrol 5.7l engines (six speed tranny in my 2009) moving to 4.88 from 3.909 made a marked seat of the pants / kick in the gut difference, larger tire diameter or not.

It is very noticeable, makes the rig feel light or kartish even. Ran with 4.88s on 32"s for a few months. Really enjoyable.

Still enjoyable on the 35"s, but has a more 'stock' feel.

A couple of recent pics. I had a small dent on my tailgate. A sticker and sheet magnet will work until I can get it fixed. Spent some time in the San Rafael Swell two weekends ago with some friends and this past weekend wandering around Moab.

Just saw this on the news...
-Looks like our Guys in Syria are 200 drivers...
**Clearly they have great taste in color choice too! :hillbilly: (Magnetic grey...)
-Oh, and...nice plug for Maxtrax...
-Note the greenish armored windows—always obvious with the dark frame around the inner glass edges.

question for you. I have the same BB skid set up sans the fuel skid. I felt the additional weight of the skids on the truck, have you?

I don't have skids on the LX, but I had a similar set on the Tacoma, and the difference was definitely noticeable. After all, it's one or two hundred pounds of steel. That said, the smooth belly should have a positive impact on fuel economy, although probably not big enough to offset the hit from the extra weight.

I’m surprised it’s just that. I didn’t go with a Nautique G23 for many reasons but one of them was being right up against the tow limit for boat and trailer even to just go from the ramp to storage in the winter and reverse in the spring. Of course cost chiefly, dock lift size, and a few other odds and ends factored into something a bit smaller. That MB has quite a bit of freeboard and I bet it surfs well.
The G23 was on my list with a MC X24, I came out of a MC X80 with the twins. The main reason I do triple trailers is to be 6 disc brakes as well. As far at the boat choice the MB had by far the best surf wave of any of the other boats. My hydrohoist was designed for my X80 so it lifts the MB easily out of the water.

I will report back tomorrow on that. I don't daily the 200, but am driving it out to work tomorrow. So will deal with some traffic and all

When I yanked my ARB skids to install BB, it really didn’t feel much different at all. Basically like having a passenger’s weight, but so low that it doesn’t really have an effect on handling.

The weight I notice big-time is anything sitting high, like water and spare on my swingout vs. no swingouts. That’s why I’ve never been anxious to add a roof rack...because I feel high-loaded weight big time.

Power and braking feels the same still. The one thing I have noticed is my suspension isn't as floaty anymore. Factory suspension, and there isn't as much rebounding like old Cadillacs anymore. Its ever so slight but I'm glad its returning to center quicker

I tried so hard to fight getting RWs and do something different. But just can't beat what they have to offer. Looks so good now!
