Gotta say...that is my new favorite for a winch bumper that blends in with a stock look.
Toyota really could have hit a home run on their tupperware bumper they’d just mimicking the basic shape & approach angles of that beauty!

First road trip. Just picked it up last week. Have to say, so happy to join the LC family. Looking forward to building this rig out. Had a race out in Spearfish, SD so couldn't explore in the rig, but heading back out there later this summer for some 4 wheel exploring.
@mojo1848 - Were you racing the Gold Rush? Wish I could have made it but just could not swing it. What's next on your calendar? Nice LC200.

Yep, was my 5th year riding it...42 degrees and raining at the start and continued raining for the first 2.5 hours of the race. It was a cold 110 miles, but that event is one of the best in the country so it was well worth it. Figuring out what events to do next. Did the Le Grand du Nord a couple weeks ago up in the Grand Marais...another great event.
Hey all, new to this forum, had some Toyotas in the past, but bought my LC200 a few months ago. This thing is a lot of fun to drive and work on. I just installed a Dobinsons lift, Dobinsons adjustable panhard bar, SPC UCA's, TRD RW wheels. (including the 5th in the stock spare location, which required an updated part from Toyota) and some extensive work on the frame, axle, etc to remove what rust there was and bring it back to life. Still waiting on a final alignment after the UCA's.
They feel fantastic on the highway, even better aired down and off-road. No drifting or wandering. Zero vibration, no trimming required. I removed front mud flaps, including the little ones towards the front bumper. Slight rubbing on full lock, however, 0.75" Bora spacers should take care of all or most of the rubbing...
I was cleaning up my desktop and ran across this oldie but goodie. I was surprised how well it spun once you got it going!
This is awesome... I was really worried I wouldn't be able to do snow donuts because it would have to much traction. But this picture alleviated all my worries.... Lol. Can't wait for winter now.

Another trip this weekend. Followed a 2 track up into a box canyon being used as a natural corral by a local ranchers.
Nice! Dave, did I see somewhere in another post that you’re running OME 2723 springs in the rear? If so, how does the truck ride with stock bumper (no additional weight hanging off the back)? Do you have any other static weight in the truck full time, ie drawers, compliment of tools, etc.

I have ARB drawers full of tools and camping gear. I'll throw my fridge in for any planned longer trips as well. It rides slightly stiff but not at all uncomfortably. I prefer a stiffer suspension to one that is too soft. I'm really happy with the current set up.

I’m getting ready to install a lift, and have been going back and forth on springs. I MAY go bumpers, maybe not. But I carry a lot of weight for work on sessions and pick up gigs, and trailer a 7x14 dual axle with full production with my band almost every weekend. When my girlfriend and I manage to find time to “adventure” we carry a LOT of crap, usually with kayaks and / or bikes on the roof. My truck is,well, a truck to me after all, and I don’t mind a stiffer ride....actually prefer it. Will definitely be an improvement with the loads I’m carrying, just wondering if 23’s would be too stiff when I’m “empty “. Thanks again, appreciate the input!!!
