I like the blacked out grill, definitely looks mean.

Great trip with @kevinfoutch! This was a trail neither of us had done before, and we were the first people there on fresh snow. Water crossings, blue skies and great scenery!

Where is this area? I'm trying to gather proximity to Denver, Colorado Springs, etc. -Somewhere off 70?

What a gorgeous place!

This trail starts off on the SW side of Leadville, CO. About a 1 1/2 ~ 2 hrs drive (when weather cooperates) from Denver via I-70. Mt. Massive and Mt. Elbert bookend the area.

edit: Trail info: Halfmoon Creek

I learned that I need gopro mounts on more places on my truck. The clamp on the spare just doesn't cut it.

Thanks!

What I love is that there is SO much available for any free day or weekend. For me...its a loooong drive to anywhere even remotely close to this. The mountains literally lift my soul every single time. Always have. So ready to be closer.

Re: Autobruder 4WD 200 Series on Instagram: Wow, not only did they delete all the chrome on the grille, but looks like they pulled the headlamp housings apart to paint the chrome reflectors as well! I'd think the risk of ruining the weather/dust seals would be too great. First dusty AZ trail and those lovely LED headlamps would be ruined. Gorgeous truck tough.

Hey,
I`m back with photos from weird stuff in my LC after Saudi owner.
Many of them were removed without photo story.
Some of them were photographed.

No 1:
Small thing - enlarging (don`t know why) hole in rear door to make room for extra wiring to rear camera... Done with hammer and screwdriver probably...

No 2:
Forgot You key to rear spare cover? No worries, Ahmed to the rescue!!

No 3:
Chinese DVD for rear passenger row was broken, and screen was opening every time somebody slammed the door. My wife was bored of beating her head over and over that stuff, so I`ve decided to get rid of this junk and install temporary OEM dome light bought on Ebay ( unfortunately grey not sand colour, could not find proper colour). Under chinese DVD were some surprises left by Ahmed. Rivets and screws straight through roof inner cover.
Take a look! And don`t mention the wiring... unfportunately I don`t have photos of that :/

No 4 (linked with 5 and 6):
Ahmed removed front bumper for some purpose, probably because of some minor damage to it. When reinstalling the bumper, he forgot to connect one important plug on the middle of bumper - that`s right - FOG LIGHTS! So what he did was - he made an extra wiring loom straight from low beam to fog lights. So they were on all the time after I turned the knob for lights. Don`t mention the wiring - and the quality of it. He surely thought about safety - fuses were installed!!
I`ve removed the wiring and connected the plug. 1/2 day labor.

No 5:
When the bumper was removed something went wrong and some bumper sliders were broken.
Rivets to the rescue! OEM paint on them to the rescue too!! For now on bumper is unremovable... :/

No 6:
See these decals on front fender and passenger door? They were spray painted with clear coat - probably during some minor damage removal. Unfortunately for me - I wanted to remove all these burnt by sun decals - beacuse they looked like crap.
So it took me 1 and 1/2 day labor, 3 wheels of 3m eraser tool and a lot of lacquer thinner.
Then car went to be resprayed and now looks a lot better. :)

No 7:
And finally - roof party. Probably with friends or some wild animals.
Damage still not removed. Fortunately it`s behind my eyesight, so it`s not so annoying... :)

Regards
Filip
