Thanks @wardharris. I just requested a quote through the Cruiser Brothers website as you suggested. But feel free to let me know if its easier to email or call.

Re clearance... Here is my 24-Gallon LRA...& even with extra steel plating by Georg and his Valley Hybrids crew, clearance is amazing:

Wider, but still only visible because camera is held low...

I have banged literally everything under my truck EXCEPT for the LRA tank.

Easily one of my favorite mods.

I assumed wrongly that I’d probably only fill both for long trips. But it’s a huge help to get to choose when I fill up with range to spare—whether on a trip, or just day to day.

Just my personal thoughts ...
12 is best if you want to keep the spare tire in the factory location.
24 is best for serious hard core off road. It's a full return tank, and sits up high between the frame rails.
40 is best for fairly hard off road / over landing max distance.

Depending on your personal purpose.

I have the 40. That is like carrying 8 full five fuel gallon cans all tucked up under.

It sits about 7.5" rear of the cross member.
It includes and uses a mounting cross member, and if you have an ARB rear bumper it mounts in the same place, so you do need to slim down the LRA cross member to fit it in there. (welding and cutting involved).

The 9 hours is about right, it took 2 of us about 4 hours.
