 Not that interested. I'd be very surprised if they localized windshield glass for the Land Cruiser. Very surprised. I'd put a sixpack on the table for that.
Many years back, when I ordered parts from you and Cdan, I usually took your word for it. That said I'll follow up as I need a windshield!

We were outliers.....

Update this thread when you do get your hands on one... I might be shipping you a 6er of your favorite beer.

Hello all, I don't post often however, please keep in mind the following. On a side note, I have been in the automotive business for the past 30yrs. Land cruiser 200 series parts are available more predominantly in Middle-East/Asia & Australia. U.S. suppliers are on the bottom of the list.

While I do prefer to buy from U.S. suppliers, I search for overseas options as well. I have bought from Dubai, United Arab Emirates via ebay as well as direct sites with 100% success. Many of the parts/accessories available overseas are not available in the U.S. i.e. $100.00 inc S&H (my cost) 08611-60880 Toyota Land Cruiser 200 Lexus LX570 OEM Window Visors Rain Guards.

I just put a deposit as the windshield will take a while to get. Once it arrives at the installer I'll try and get details and pics, we'll see.

Toyota labeled windshield, but made by AGC Automotive.

I'm happy I was correct.

LC glass has always been manufactured by Asahi Glass Corporation or Nippon Safety Glass.

Nice windshield!
I'm happy as well. Bummed I won't be getting a 6'er though!

Chip sealing wreaked havoc on all of our vehicles this summer. Had five windshields destroyed. Makes me so mad. Anyway, finally got new glass for the 200 installed. I was “told” this was the last one available. Or at least it was the last one this supplier had. But who knows. I’m in Idaho. I think it was down in Phoenix.

Feel free to tell me how stupid this is but what if we started a sort of "go fund me" that could be handled by a reputable vendor from this site where a decent number of parts that are either no longer manufactured or are likely to become discontinued could be obtained and available for purchase by the participants (like group buys). I understand that it would not be financially possible to stock a significant number of parts that might be needed, i.e. long blocks, etc., but things like filters, connectors and the countless other low cost parts that are likely to end up unavailable in the next year or so might be nice to have.
I am not talking about each person depositing a lot of money, but if enough people that frequent this forum participated it might make previously low cost discontinued parts available for enthusiasts.

Filters unavailable in a year?

My wife thought it would be fun to back her 08' LX 570 into our basketball goal. Boom goes the rear windshield. Supposedly we have the last one avail in the US being installed next week.

Are aftermarket real windows available?

I’ve tried to order a replacement parking brake boot for my lx a few times only to have it cancelled with distributor claiming it’s NLA

I can’t find my email but also tried to order the leather garnish that runs on the passenger side of the center console up to the vent and it’s been cancelled as well.

Surely this can't be correct!?? Ordered a new oil filter from Cool Cruiser for my 1980 fj40.......this is what came in! My original is massive compared to this pint size thing. Is this right? Can the original be bought?

Yes, that is a valid supersession of the 41010 filter.

you vs. the guy she told you not to worry about?!?!

Tiny comparison!!

Smaller indeed, no secret there. You'll find many Mud threads since that happened years ago 12?+ years ago in the US market. Many, many, many running them without issue. Should you want a larger, grab a 1qt Denso or other.

It looks like HE BBS wheels are done. Part #PT960-60200-05 is NLA, at least on autoparts.toyota.com. :crybaby::crybaby::crybaby:

Edit: I was wrong. See below.

Olathe and a few other still show available, don't know about stock levels.

They are **not** discontinued.

5 available for sale and 57 on backorder. 60 inbound to fill the back orders.
