you guys seem to be a little stressed on it, i wouldn't worry. his feedback is pretty damn good. i maybe get told when my items ship once out of every 20 times, it don't matter to me. i never ask, and it allways gets here :)

interested to hear how the kits turn out. hell of a deal.

I'm more bummed than anything. I see that they are a power seller...good. I ordered last Sunday and have not heard anything about my order other than funds received...bad. Being a power seller I would assume that they would be able to let me know what's going on. I'm not bashing, actually very excited about getting it, just wanted to install it before a trip to Ouray for the 4th.

Alright...here's my deal so far with the Ironman Suspension auction on eBay:

I ordered the suspension kit offered by acc.liquidator three days ago. I also wanted to get greasable shackles and pins, so on the off chance that this seller would have them, I emailed them and asked them if they sold the parts to fit my 60. That same day, they replied to my email and said they had the parts and would put them on eBay ASAP. As soon as they had posted the auctions, they sent me a follow up email letting me know the auctions were up. So, I got a complete suspension package with greasable shackles and pins for $670.

Then, Kim from Truck Accessory Liquidators (apparently the brick and mortor company behind acc.liquidator) sent yet another follow up email letting me know that all the parts had shipped together this afternoon via FedEx.

They do have good feedback and I really have no more apprehension about this auction than any other auction. A little more excited...but not too worried. This will be my first big project on my truck, so I'm pretty excited about it.

We'll see...

I'm not worried anymore. Kim also wrote me and said it was shipped yesterday.

Not unless you are running 4" of lift. (Which would be if you have the extra long shackles.

Extended brake lines a good idea with Ironman 2" lift

The stock brake lines will fit but without much extra to allow for flexing. I eventually put on the stainless steal extended brake lines from Specter. I feel much better knowing I have stronger and longer brake lines on. The kit also comes with a stainless steal line for the clutch slave cylinder. If you have the original brake lines, they may be due for replacement anyhow.

Finally....

I received my 2" Ironman lift off Ebay. I took measurements before, having 34" to the bottom of the front fender well, and 32" for the rear. I installed the lift last night, everything went very well. Having only 90k on my rig the shackle bolts came right out no problem. It took me about 4 hours to install everything. Measurments after lift are 36 3/4" at the front, and 37" at the rear. I am very pleased, my cruiser sits a bit ass high but has a much better ride and looks than the old saggy leafs. The overall lift was higher than the 2" advertised but that is most likely based from a new stock cruiser.

I would love to post my pics, if anyone can explain to me how to downsize a picture file to be acceptable for this forum.

IRONMAN LIFT...:) :) :) :)

just pulled the trigger on this myself. i've never heard a bad thing about these setups, just didn't seem to be offered anywhere stateside.

I went for one of these also

I could not resist it for the price and ordered on last week. Did you need to use shims on the front axle for the drive angle? The springs on my 60 are so worn that they bottom out on a manhole cover, I can not wait to test the new ride.

can one of you guys that got the parts already verify that they sent the correct spring pins. the ones i ordered say for a FJ60, but the picture doesn't appear to be correct.

Does anyone run these on a 62... They (Ironman and Acc.Liq) list the B2 as the correct springs but on Ironman's site they show the Toy006b as not being made for the 62 but being suited for 86-1990. What gives?

MJM,

I did not have to use shims. Shims are usually only used when longer shackles are added. I am going to get 2" Shackles for the front with 6 degree shims. Probably going to leave the back stock to maybe balance it out better.

Loeky,

I did not receive any install instructions for mine. I ordered the kit up to 85. I had no trouble with my pins. One thing to keep in mind when installing...The rear leafs have two different part numbers, set them on a smooth concrete floor arched up so both mounts are on the floor. Grab a level and check for the leaf that is taller. This is the leaf that belongs on the drivers rear. If you switch them it may lean.

Rockyklg,

Tire size is only 31x10.50/15's. I bought these for a stupid Grand Cherokee I was working on. I couldn't keep it on the road, will never own a Heep again. I think 33's will fit great with this lift.

I'm pretty new to this site and fj60's. Having said that, the 60 that I currently
own and found on this site has an Iron lift and 33x9.5 bfg. I'm pretty happy
with the ride and love the look with this size tire. I was thinking of installing
a medium OME setup but think I will leave it as it is for now. I cannot get over
how much I like this 87' 60. I need to post some pictures and officially register

wow i thought they were bigger... hey one question for you though. are you going to use the shims for driveline angle or for caster angle or is it one in the same? im asking cause im planing on using ccot 1.5 shackles and wondering what negaitves there are if i dont use shims. no hijack intended.
