Yeah it was great meeting all you guys there on Saturday. I sold some items and grabbed some fresh taillight lens. It was my first time hanging out with cruiser people. There were some awesome rigs and knowledgeable people. This encourages me to want to finish my 40 faster.
-Eric

I don't know if I got the best deal of the day, but I sure feel like it. Eric sold me a stock seat belt for my '69 for a buck!:bounce::bounce:Thanks again Eric.

Anyone who thought about coming but didn't really missed out on some killer deals. 909 isn't kidding when he says he had to hold himself back. Anybody who knows him [and theres a few of us by now] could tell he was looking at that pile of axles like they were lost puppies!:lol:

calstyl2, if anyone in chat ever accuses you of not contributing to the cruiser community, you now have a few dozen witnesses that can testify you came thru in a big way. A new tradition has been born! Next time, I won't have the family with me, and I'll bring a cruiser for the event.

Thanks to all.:)

Not bad for a guy that made 1 sale all day, a grab bar for $1.00

Let me say this yesterday I was talking to Will ( Via Facebook ) and told him about CruiserStuff bringing a Confer Tire cover and having everyone sign it for him. If I get kind of wierd tommorow over this its because this is the PM I got from Will
Dad,

I havent done anything yet when i deploy people can try and give me stuff deal? i joined to join not for people to give me stuff when i havent done anything and other soldiers have died and recived nothing... so u hold onto it till i do something ok?

He hasnt done anything yet ! He has no Idea how proud I am. Just wanted to share that See you all tommorow.
If William balks at accepting the tire cover, just tell him this:

By putting on that uniform and by making the decision to serve, he has already DONE more for our country than most people will do in their entire lives. That's why we're proud of him. That's why he has our respect.

Rob, if you get a chance, post up the pic of you holding the tire cover so others can see....

Funny :grinpimp: It were not there you really missed the soul of what this whole Cruiser thing is all about. I think everyone there at some point when someone was looking at whatever it was asked for a price they were told " Just take it " There were alot of examples I saw first hand. Whats Amaizing is after going to the Stockton Swap Meet I was blown away by the amout of people just giving stuff away This weekend proves I dont care where you live or what you drive ( Toyota :grinpimp: ) Theres something about these gatherings that really shows you the kind of Heart that comes out when you get 2 or 20 Cruiser Heads together East Coast to the West Coast its all about keeping these things running. Dam that was a Great Weekend  Here is the cover signed by those attending. Thank You

Well, let's see,

I put a little over $200 in my pocket.

I bought a really clean rear heater with all the hoses, brackets, etc for $60 and a very nice Con-ferr locking storage box for $20.....

Was priceless seeing the look on Mark A's face when you made that deal on the con-ferr box- I even think I heard him say he would have paid double.

you stole that heater, and you know Rob's pissed you didn't buy his

maybee $200.00 was a little steep:D

Yeah my only thing was if I had known everyone was gonna go outside I wouldnt of had all the toyhauler drama to pull it out or borrow those sheets to hide all my secret cruiser swag...........

All worked out well.

I peeked behind those sheets- and all I saw was your stuffed animal collection

I managed to bring home less than what I took out there. It wasn't easy though. Rob, I think I'll be able to make this work with the t-case, and I think I saved enough, or maybe I made enough to make a better oil line on the Jagota. So bring your goggles and be ready to smile.

I just wanted to thank everyone that put this together. It was great meeting people and picking up some parts for my 40 and some for my bro in laws. Rob (Landcruser909) mentioned to me that he might have an uncut dash for my BIL and today my BIL went and picked it up.

Thanks again Rob!

All part of the karma Tim.:) CruiserStuff turned around and gave me a ConFerr console to replace the one that was in my 45 that I gave to a guy in WY that needed one for his 55.;)

I think that what brother Rob was getting at with his list was that what we lacked in quantity we made up for in QUALITY!:bounce: I scored a 45 rear view mirror, a 45lwb tailight lens [NOS!], an early heater pipe, a 40 rear step, some bucket seat brackets, shortie jump seats, rear ambi doors, 1bbl carb and paper element air cleaner, oversized backup light and other cool stuff. Paid a lot of guys more than they were asking, cause it was the right thing to do.

And I got the pleasure of introducing bogus one to spike strip, and then introducing monnie to bogus. That was

And a big ditto on what Greg said about Will.:)

Mark's not kidding....he asked me how much I'd sell a pair of short jump seats for. I told him $20 each. He said, "I'll pay you $50 for the pair." At first, I thought he was kidding, but sho nuf, he cut me a check for $50. Now that's saying something.....
